About the Organizers

Nate Cooper has been teaching technology for nearly a decade and has been building websites for twice as long. He has taught Digital Media at the University of California Santa Cruz. He has been a trainer for staff and customers at Apple Inc. He has presented at WordPress NYC on the topic of WordPress for Beginners and taught two classes on Website Basics: Website Bootcamp for Creative Professionals and Setting up a self-hosted WordPress site.
Hopkinson Creative Media, Founder Reboot Nation
Jim Hopkinson is a published author, blogger, and speaker who teaches people how to use personal branding and social media to advance their career or build a business. Most recently, Jim was the online marketing director for Wired.com, managed their events at SXSW, and oversaw Conde Nastâ€™s community manager program. He hosts a blog and podcast called The Hopkinson Report, that covers marketing trends in the digital age. He also teaches a social media class at NYU.
Our presenters were coached by Martha Denton, a professional communications specialist by trade, she focuses on presentation design, presentation delivery, infographics and innovation strategy capability building. With every project she works on, she focuses on three areas: audience, speakerâ€™s strengths and preferences, and content. Martha is the Presentation Mistress for Ignite NYC, coach for the upcoming TEDxHarlem, and is working on curating and coaching a rapid-fire presentation segment for The Economistâ€™s next innovation conference.
Matt Ramirez was born and raised in the Inwood area of Manhattan where he lived for most of his life before recently moving to the Bronx where he now lives alone in his studio in which he lives and works out of. Working as a Creative Instructor for Apple Inc. as well as a freelance photographer outside Matt has established his own brand and name PDBYM a.k.a Photography Design By: M Â and in the last year was featured in Baboo Digitalâ€™s open show gallery as well as many blog sites and social network sites.Â Now looking to expand into the gallery scene and show the world what his mind conjures up from day to day he hopes to blow up in 2012.
