Angie Anderson

Biggest Little Designs

By day, Angie Anderson managed national marketing campaigns for big companies like Starwood Hotels and Moleskine, but by night, she was formulating a plan to break away, start an independent graphic design company, and turn her employers into clients. In December 2010, that’s just what she did, launching Biggest Little: a small design operation with big ideas. Angie lives in New York City and is currently working on kid’s apps with her collaborative design group, Tryangle Labs.

Lauryn Ballesteros is a marketing, sales and partnership ninja who believes in the power of the human conversation. Her days are spent teaching premium brands the power of digital sponsorships at Squidoo. Having sold almost $250K in sponsorships for Seth Godin’s The Domino Project, she swears by authenticity, hustle and a bit of luck. Paul Canetti is the founder and CEO of MAZ, a digital publishing platform with a focus on transitioning the print world to tablet and mobile devices. Having previously worked in both technology and publishing at Apple, Condé Nast, and as the Creative Director of a boutique web/app development agency, Canetti truly understands the important intersection of content, design and technology.

Before her current role as Skillshare Community Manager, Danya recruited hundreds of college students from across the country to join Teach For America, a national movement to end educational inequity.  She serves on American Jewish World Service’s young leadership Steering Committee and hosts potlucks, sends out music blasts, and gives advice on getting what you want (whether mid-century furniture or a career change). She writes a blog, Danyaneering, about just that.

Saul Colt is the Head of Magic at FreshBooks.com and was recently named as one of the iMEDIA 25: Internet Marketing Leaders & Innovators He’s been called one of Canada’s best community builders/experiential marketers, even Chris Brogan once referred to Saul as “exactly who you want representing your company”. In a previous life Saul was the person who launched Zipcar into the Canadian marketplace, and even knows what it is like to work for a large corporation from his time in a leadership role at Rogers Communications. Saul loves all people, especially women and is tired of people asking him to remove his shirt.

Nate Heasley

Nate Heasley is the founder and director of Goodnik, a nonprofit organization that supports social entrepreneurs and advocates for corporate social responsibility. Prior to founding Goodnik, Nate worked in both the private and non-profit sectors in executive management and consultant capacities. Nate holds a BA from St. John’s College in Annapolis, M.D. and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where he was a Crowley Fellow in International Human Rights and a Stein Scholar for Public Interest Law and Ethics.

Michael Margolis

Michael teaches entrepreneurs how to tell their story. His company Get Storied is a leading destination online for the business of storytelling. The son of an inventor and artist, Michael is obsessed with human development, entrepreneurship, and social media. His book Believe Me: a Storytelling Manifesto for Change-Makers and Innovators has been downloaded over 10,000 times. Michael curates the Reinvention Summit, and his work and ideas have been featured in Fast Company, BrandWeek, and Storytelling Magazine. Michael is left handed, color blind, and eats more chocolate than the average human.

Gina Noy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than a decade of tax experience. She has worked at several Big 4 accounting firms as well as in a large private equity firm where she handled tax returns and issues for a range of entities from billion dollar funds to start-ups. Noy Tax Associates provides tax planning and compliance services for clients in many industries including health care, technology, food, and finance services businesses. Gina has experience with corporate, partnership, as well as individual local and multi-state taxes.
